How we work

• Factual claims are checked against named government, university, professional-body or peer-reviewed sources, linked on the article.
• Every article shows its author, publication date, last review date and the region it applies to.
• Climate statements are ranges and directions under a named scenario, never exact forecasts.
• Whether a plant is native, permitted or restricted comes from official registers, never from climate similarity.
• Commercial links never influence horticultural advice or ranking, and are disclosed where they appear.
• Articles are general guidance, not a site survey. Drainage, structures, safety and restricted species need local professional advice.
